I've moved to the flexible workspace, I managed to get a permanent desk which is by the window and not directly under a fluorescent light. I couldn't bring my phone with me but I could bring my headset and the new phones have volume control so maybe it will be OK.
I still think that the Flexible workspace hasn't been designed with any thinking in the terms of reasonable adjustments/special needs but I'll have to see how good/bad it is after a few weeks.
